Jillian Kirschner’s early life experiences of moving from town to town gave her an appreciation for all aspects of the reality of life’s beauty and struggle. Jillian has a degree in Fine Art from the Technikon of Witwatersrand, as well as 5 years’ experience in teaching at the Technikon. She has been a self-employed artist since 1998 and works with multiple mediums. She has exhibited at multiple galleries, such as Museum Africa.
Jillian naturalistic style focuses on expressing the intimacy of life and vitality by capturing the essence of the human and animal form.
Jillian has done extensive work for decorators over the years, and her work has also featured in prestigious magazines, such as SA Home Owner. She has also done murals in many locations, from shops to casinos, from hospitals to children’s rooms.
