Ewaldi

Ewaldi was born in March 1979 in South Africa. While he has had no formal training in the arts, he has a natural ability to convey and translate the mood and presence of an abstract piece to canvas. His work is the result of a passion for texture and colour created with non-conventional combinations of different mediums. His art captures the essence and feeling of actual objects without being too realistically representational. It is the reality of insight rather than the reality of eyesight that is the signature style of his art pieces. He is an immensely versatile abstract artist who has gained popularity and credibility because of the quality of his work. His work is displayed in many private collections and various art galleries around South Africa.
