Mary Mincher

Mary Mincher was born and bred in Gauteng.  As a child and young adult she had always been involved in the arts, whether playing the piano or violin, working with clay or making folk art and art embroidery. Eventually she took the bull by the horns and completed a drawing and sketching course – using charcoal and graphite. From there she moved onto formal art lessons focusing on oils and acrylics however, she is always keen to experiment with new styles and mediums.  Her passion for landscapes is inspired by her 4×4 travels with her husband, taking in many incredible views of this beautiful country.  She is an avid reader and gardening enthusiast.
