Paul Munro

Paul Munro is a surfer, artist and adventurer. He is often seen painting inside his little mobile studio, made by his son Gordon. He paints landscapes – the Karoo and inland – as well as animals and seascapes. He paints in oils and acrylics. He uses no reference pictures, choosing rather to paint from his imagination.

He gets his inspiration from the many sights he has seen by traveling throughout South Africa. He had also spent two years backpacking around the country with an easel, so to paint the scenery he found.
