Stan Polson

Stan Polson was born in Reddersberg, South Africa and grew up in Rustenburg and Pretoria. He is a self-taught acclaimed artist, known for his colorful, tranquil landscape scenes. Polson did not have the opportunity to study fine arts and worked in corporate for many years before becoming a full-time artist after the birth of his daughter.

Polson currently resides in Pretoria and exhibits his artworks in various galleries around South Africa. He believes that color has the ability to set a mood instantaneously and therefore, makes vivid use of color in his paintings to create tranquil scenes.
